  • Have breakfast at the hotel. The group will depart to visit:
  • Santa Claus Holiday Village, where you will:
  • Receive a certificate for crossing the Arctic Circle.
  • Take photos with Santa Claus.
  • Have lunch at a restaurant.
  • Continue to visit Arktikum Rovaniemi – A museum where you can experience life and unique stories about the Arctic through vivid and impressive exhibits.
  • Free time for shopping at Sampokeskus or Revontuli Shopping Center.
  • Have dinner. Overnight in Rovaniemi.

ROVANIEMI - SANTA CLAUSE VILLAGE - ROVANIEMI

  • Group will take a connecting flight to Helsinki:

  • Arrive at Helsinki Airport and proceed with immigration procedures. The bus will take the group for lunch and a tour of Helsinki city:
  • Stop for photos outside the Kamppi Chapel – also known as the "Chapel of Silence" – a place designed for people to find peace in the heart of the bustling city.
  • Uspenski Cathedral (Russian Orthodox), Helsinki Cathedral,
  • Kauppatori Market Square
  • Have dinner and check in to the Radisson Blu Seaside hotel. Overnight in Helsinki.

ISTANBUL - HELSINKI

  • Have breakfast and check out. Continue touring Helsinki:
  • Senate Square (Senaatintori)
  • Sibelius Monument Park
  • Temppeliaukio Church (Rock Church).
  • Enjoy free time for shopping at the Stockmann department store.
  • Have early dinner.
  • 5:30 PM: Depart for the airport to catch a flight to Ivalo.

  • Afterward, transfer to Saariselka (30 minutes).
  • Check in to Kakslauttanen Arctic Resort. Overnight in Saariselka.

HELSINKI - IVALO - SAARISELKA

  • Have breakfast at the hotel.
  • The group will embark on a wild food experience: picking wild berries and mushrooms, and hiking to explore nature.
  • Enjoy an outdoor lunch with food cooked over a campfire.
  • Return to Saariselka.
  • Feel free to enjoy the hotel's relaxation facilities such as: sauna and ice swimming (Smoke Sauna and Ice Swimming).
  • Have dinner at the restaurant. Overnight in Saariselka.

SAARISELKA - INARI - SAARISELKA

  • Have breakfast at the hotel. Check out.
  • Group will depart for Luosto.
  • Visit the Amethyst Mine at Lampivaara (1 hour): You will have the opportunity to mine and find your own lucky stone in the mine area.
  • Continue to Rovaniemi (116km ~ 1 hour 30 minutes).
  • Have dinner, then check in to Santa’s Hotel Santa Claus – Rovaniemi. Overnight in Rovaniemi.

SAARISELKA - LOUSTO - ROVANIEMI

  • Have breakfast at the hotel.
  • Experience a Fjord Cruise:
  • Embark on the modern, all-electric catamaran.
  • The cruise offers views of historical landmarks such as Akershus Fortress, Oslo City Hall, Aker Brygge, and Tjuvholmen with the Astrup Fearnley Museum. You'll also pass the FRAM Museum at Bygdøy and the islet of Dyna with its lighthouse.
  • Enjoy panoramic views of the city's architectural and historical landmarks.

  • Oslo Royal Palace: The official residence of the Norwegian monarch, located at the end of Karl Johans gate. It was completed in 1849 and is open to the public during the summer.
  • Oslo Opera House, Aker Brygge, Oslo City Hall
  • Group 2:
  • Participate in a local Horn work activity before heading to the airport.

  • Group will visit the Fram Museum – a museum dedicated to telling the story of Norwegian polar exploration
  • Have lunch and depart for the airport to catch the flight back to Vietnam (transit Turkey).

COSTUME

  • Temperatures in Finland and Norway range from 03°C - 15°C, you should bring thermal clothing, warm clothes, jackets, scarves, woolen hats, gloves, walking shoes or sneakers, and an umbrella in case of rain.
  • Note: Dress appropriately when entering the church.

FOOD

You will have meals at Chinese, Vietnamese and Western restaurants. Chinese restaurants offer free tea, but Western restaurants do not offer free drinks. If you drink beer or wine, you will pay for it yourself. Note that some restaurants do not allow outside food.
Hotels in Northern Europe usually serve a Continental breakfast consisting of pastries, cheese, butter, bacon, milk, coffee or orange juice. Full breakfasts are rare and may be available at an additional charge. If you are not used to it, bring your own breakfast.

RESTRICTED ITEMS TO FINLAND AND NORWAY

Restricted or prohibited items when entering Finland include food and meat products, dairy products, dangerous goods (explosives, weapons, fireworks), counterfeit goods, contraband goods, drugs, toxic substances, protected species of animals and plants and their products, and other products not permitted for import under EU and Finnish regulations.
Prohibited or restricted items when entering Norway include meat, meat products and dairy products from outside the European Economic Area (EEA), drugs and narcotics, weapons, endangered animals and plants. In addition, potatoes, fireworks, poisons, alcoholic beverages over 60% and cultural relics and antiques are also items that need to be noted in terms of entry regulations.

CURRENCY

  • Finland uses the Euro (EUR).
  • Norway uses the Krone (NOK), and still accepts EUR at most shopping locations.

WHEN TRAVELING ABROAD

  • Personal medicine: If you have a special disease (blood pressure, heart disease, diabetes, etc.), you should bring your own medicine.
  • Public toilets: Usually cost from 1eur/time, use coins to open the door.
  • Using mobile phones: If you want to use your personal phone, you should register for international network at the local post office or use a data sim.
  • Comply with the schedule: You must follow the schedule announced by the tour leader. If you get lost, take a taxi to the hotel according to the address on the hotel's name card (issued on the first day).
  • Maintain hygiene, avoid fines: Do not litter or smoke in public places. Pay attention to the no smoking signs, because violations will be severely punished.
  • Beware of theft: In Europe, pickpocketing and fraud are very common. Some tricks include:
- Pretending to be police to check tourists' documents and wallets.
- Taking advantage of crowded times to steal property
Please always keep your belongings and money safe, and avoid traveling alone without a tour leader or group leader.

Local guide in Europe

  • Local guides are only present at the tourist attractions, not following the group throughout the route like in Asia.
  • Some places do not have local guides, the Vietravel tour leader will provide basic information before the visit.
  • Some places prohibit explanations inside such as churches, museums, etc. If you need information, you can ask the tour leader after the visit or on the moving vehicle.

TRANSPORTATION

  • Sightseeing buses that park for too long will be fined, passengers must be on time, do not leave important luggage on the bus, limit bringing food.
  • Traveling outside the program can take the metro or taxi in big cities. The metro is convenient but need to be careful of pickpockets, closed at 23:30 - 24:00.
  • Group buses serve 10 hours/day.

HOTEL NOTE
  • Check-in/check-out time: Check-in after 15:00, check-out before 12:00.
  • Personal items: The hotel provides towels, soap, tissues, etc. Guests should prepare their own toothbrushes, slippers and other personal items.
  • Mini bar: There is a mini fridge in the room, which will be charged and paid for at the reception desk upon check-out. Some hotels use Robot minibars - if you have taken the product, you will be charged immediately and cannot return or replace it with another product.
  • Winter minibar service: Some hotels do not provide minibars in winter. If needed, please contact the reception or tour leader.
  • Kettle: Hotels in Europe often do not provide hot water kettles or coffee makers for fire safety reasons. If needed, guests should bring their own.

Spare batteries/ chargers must be clearly displayed on the device with a capacity of no more than 20.000mah, must be kept in carry-on baggage and must not be used during the flight.

VIETNAM AVIATION AND CUSTOMS REGULATIONS
